🎨 General Information

What is HiBeads Studio?
HiBeads Studio is a creative pixel-art and fused bead workshop space in downtown Round Rock, Texas. We provide hands-on DIY crafting experiences for guests ages 5 and up, with nearly 300 mini bead colors and 100 maxi bead colors — perfect for kids, teens, and adults to explore art and design together.

What can I create at HiBeads Studio?
You can make pixel bead art such as keychains, coasters, wall art, magnets, anime characters, gaming sprites, and portraits. All tools, beads, and workspace are provided.

Do you teach classes or are they self-guided?
 Most workshops are self-guided DIY sessions, where you create at your own pace. Our staff assists when needed and handles all heat pressing for safety.
We also run structured STEAM Lab classes that combine science, technology, engineering, art, and math through creative bead projects.

How can I order a custom bead design of my pet or family member?
To create a custom bead design, please email your photo to support@hibeadsstudio.com at least 24 hours in advance. Our team will turn your picture into a unique fused bead artwork!

👧 Participation & Safety

What ages can participate?
We welcome guests ages 5 and older.

  • Ages 5–12: must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

  • Ages 12+: can participate independently with an emergency contact on file.

Are fused beads safe for kids?
Yes, when used properly. Children under 12 should use maxi beads (5 mm), which are larger and easier to handle. Mini beads (2.6 mm) are recommended for teens and adults.

Do you allow food or drinks?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food or drinks.

We’re located at 110 S Lampasas Street, Suite 3, Round Rock, TX 78664, near Round Rock City Hall with free street and garage parking.

What are your hours?

  • Tue – Thu: 3 PM – 8 PM

  • Fri: 3 PM – 9 PM

  • Sat: 11 AM – 9 PM

  • Sun: 11 AM - 8 PM

Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes! Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations guarantee seating during busy weekends.

🎉 Events & Special Services

Do you host birthday parties?
Yes! We host birthday parties and group events for ages 5 and up, offering themed activities, guided creations, and take-home projects.
Each party can be customized by age group and skill level.

Do you provide character templates?
We cannot share copyrighted character patterns, but our online pixel-design tool converts images or photos into bead patterns using the HiBeads color palette.

🔧 Tools & Equipment

Do I need to bring anything?
Nothing! We supply all tools, beads, pegboards, and workspace. You just bring your creativity.

How long does a project take?
Small maxi-bead projects: 1–2 hours
Small mini-bead projects: 2–3 hours
Larger artworks may take multiple sessions — members can store unfinished work.
